Montreux Jazz Festival
The Montreux Jazz Festival takes places over 2 weeks each summer. The festival was created in 1967 by Claude Nobs, René Langel, & Géo Voumard, & has since become a landmark event & draws more than 250,000 visitors. Get more information & download the programme of the festival here.
The festival & the hotel
We would like to remind you that the Royal Plaza Montreux is located in the heart of the festival so do not hesitate to book your stay and take advantage of our ideal location. From the rooms on the Vernex park side, you will be in the front row to attend the programme of the “Super Bock Stage” & “El Mundo”! There will be a lot of atmosphere & a lot of noise! During the evening, the access by car could also be slightly difficult & major noise disturbances are to be expected in the hotel, especially in the rooms located next to the Festival.
